The Reboot has begun!

The past two days have seen life come back to my blog. I am doing my series of Gaming and Anime past, and adding some things, leading up to my revamp of my favorite characters list of all time. Since 2015, It stayed the same. So I need to add and subtract characters to make it more up-to-date. Look foward to that. However, as the 7.0 refresh happened, Homura Akemi magically vanished, and a new one, totally different from what came before, appeared. So, who is she?

As I promised on my “Hiatus” post 2 weeks ago, I have just changed my blog a bit. Instead of showcasing Homura Akemi, this time I am introducing my “Mascot” of my blog. Named Momoko Koizumi, she was born while playing Final Fantasy XIV…

At first as I was playing, I ended up using a Twintail-based hairstyle. However, once she turned Lvl 20, I felt it neccessary to change her hairstyle. Now, she looks a lot more mature than what she was.

I think eventually I will get some art commissioned for her, but in the mean time, I used a character creator to make the image you see on top. You may see other places she’ll pop up.

As to other things that may be posted, I know there is a Nintendo Direct going to happen at 5pm CDT tomorrow, so I may post something on that. Depends on what is shown in there.

Memories of Gaming Past 007-Lunar Star Story Complete

One of the series I am bringing back in the reboot is the Memories of Gaming Past. This series I  continued for a while unlike the other one which I had only 2 done before I got sidetracked back in 2015. Sooooo……

The next game on the list is the first game in the Lunar Franchise for the PS1, Lunar Silver Star Story Complete. What I remember of this game was the fact that it was harder than some of the other PS1 RPGs I was playing at the time, and it had cutscenes nicely animated by Studio Gonzo (!) for it’s time. And 30 minutes in the game, you get… Luna’s Boat Song. Very fond memories of playing this game and its sequel. Coming next: An adventurer’s quest to see the end of the world, and my favorite game in the PS1 era. (2 different games as the hint as to whats to come)
(Lunar Silver Story, 1999, PS1)
